All dues MUST be paid at the same time to receive the Family Discount.
Cash, Cheque, VISA/ MasterCard or Debit are accepted in payment. A $35.00 Administration fee is charged on all accounts not paid in full or if no arrangements for payment have been made by November 15 (second session deadline January 31).
Membership and Privileges in the Capital Winter Curling Club for 2009-2010
The CWC is a curling "family" which works together as an enthusiastic volunteer management team. Everyone benefits from the lasting friendships that develop. Members are encouraged to make new members and guests feel welcome, and to invite friends to come into the Club to socialize, watch curling matches or attend functions. Everyone is permitted to purchase refreshments at the bar and dining rooms. All members and shareholders have the right and are encouraged to attend meetings of the Club, and help keep it a vibrant organization.
The volunteer Board of Directors must approve all applications for membership, which include these types:
These memberships include full access to curl days and/or evenings in all scheduled League Play. It also allows access to practice ice whenever available.
One Shift Membership allows access to curl ONE shift on the day that was SPECIFIED only. It also allows access to practice ice on the specified day only.
SPARING
Spares in any category other than full membership cannot sign up or play as a regular member of any team in any league or draw, as doing so requires a membership category allowing them to play.
PRACTICE
All members are required to sign up for practice time. If you are a nonmember or outside your membership category you are required to pay a Practice Fee.
